We are family based breeders who are facsinated by the Finnish Lapphunds breed, their ability to learn, versatility of looks and temperaments, and their agility and sturdyness. Over the years, we explored various activities with our Tyra – starting with sheepherding to obedience and even attempted rescue work. It is so fascinating to see what is within the breed’s innate abilities and what is somewhat foreign to the lapphunds.
Besides, we love these country trips with the dog, staying in a new town every other night, enjoying what it has to offer. What can compare to looking at the stars of the Australian sky on a cold August starry night, watching shooting stars fly! Or, maybe strolling through wine country, looking what cellar is the friendliest to the dogs.
Tyra has been with us in all these travels as a loyal companion and, indeed, a true member of the family – shall we say “pack”?
